Please come back soon.
April 2010 |
| The car is rebuilt and ready to race. All we need now is a break in our work schedule to go and race it. Please come back soon for our race calendar. |
April 2009 |
Planet Eclipse come on board. |
| Thanks to Planet Eclipse - the UK based manufacturer of (the best) Paintball Markers we now have a new pit cover and shelter. They have supplied us with a set of ez up type shelters which will contain the car and crew and should make us really easy to spot in the pits. Look for the Oxford blue pyramids with Planet Eclipse branding and that's where you will find us. Please show your support and visit their website www.planeteclipse.com. |

| Some of the shelters deployed at Oulton Park where Pat displays the car for Santa Pod at the Modified Live event in April. Note Woody's (Steve Wood) SST bike also on display at the Event. |
Easter Thunderball 2009 |
| An interesting outing for our debut with the new fuel system. Friday - 1 run, the car goes two feet up into the air at the launch, breaks the gear set in the gearbox and runs a 22 second pass. A lot of tyres shake and a lot of testing in the pits to check that there is no chassis damage. Not the best start after a year off. |
| Various runs later and we run against our German Friends in the first eliminations - we run a 8.00 on a 7.99 dial in and win the race by 0.05 seconds - but through the finish line the rear wing strut suffers a fracture at the point of mounting so we have to withdraw from the rest of the competition as we cannot get a fix in time. Never mind - we'll be back at the Main Event. |
2009 - Were back and in BLACK |

| Great to be back. After a year off and a hectic winter we arrived back at the racing at the Easter Thunderball at Santa Pod. |
| Over the winter we were wondering what we could do to make the 'old girl' ( the car - not driver) go a little faster. If you've been following our progress over the last 14 years you will know that we are not ones to 'stand still'. Mind you that can mean taking a step backwards before going forwards (as all drag racers will tell you.) |
Lots of changes to the car. A new alcohol fuel system, carb, pumps and associated plumbing - thanks to BLP in Florida. A new paint scheme. Revised crew - more of that later, and a huge learning curve. We hope to run Alcohol and NOS together. Lots of people tell us it'll never work. Therefore we must try it and see what happens. |
| Crew changes include the welcome return of our brother Matthew Talbot- Matt has done great work over the winter to help us return to our addiction. Another brother Jon helped us paint the car but due to work commitments cannot attend the racing - but thanks for your help over the last couple of years. |

Another welcome addition - on a part time basis at any rate is the famous drag racing addict - excellent photographer and all round great friend Tom Ward - AKA Sharkman. Don't worry he will still be track side - but has decided that he needed to update his mechanical skills and hopefully will be crewing with us when not busy taking photos. |
| Finally and by no means least is a big thanks to Kev Cerasale who has been helping us debug our various gremlins over the last two years. |
2008 |
| We spent 2008 visiting Bonneville; which was awesome and plotting our return. |
2007 |
| Our season so far has included 2 new personal E.T. bests - with Pat running a 6.90 at the Main Event early in the year. With some slight engine damage at the Main Event - and a triple nitrous 'burb' which could be heard all over Santa Pod's huge venue we are happy to report that the car and driver are fit and healthy and ready to race at the European Finals in September. |
2006 European Finals - Santapod |
| The new Personal Bests continue. At the European finals we we knocked out in the Semi Finals - beaten by our friend Barry Giles. However Pat and the crew came away with a record (for us) 4 - 6 second passes. a 6.94, 6.95, 6.95 and a 6.97 with two other runs which although 7.00's were caused by her slowing down for a win! Pat also managed to increase her personal best MPH from 191 to 193.16. |
After the three year wait we are now firmly bedded into the six second bracket. |
| Well Done Pat and all of the team. Thanks to all of our supporters who have been into the pits over the last few months. We do look forward to speaking to you next year. |
Thunderball - Santapod |
After 3 years of running at around 187 -189 MPH we have finally cracked the 190 MPH barrier. Although by only .01 MPH! We have been changing the setup of the transmission on the car over the last 12 months and are finally beginning to see advancments. We have now run a personal best of e.t. 6.957 and 190.01 MPH. |
