Welcome to Talbot Racing's website. We are Drag Racing team based in Cheshire in the United Kingdom. We having been involved in drag racing for over 10 years and are currently racing in the National Championship in the fastest of all sportsman classes - Super Pro ET which allows cars to run as fast as 6.30 seconds over the 1/4 mile before being limited.
Our lady driver - Pat Talbot, races the 27ft long, 1600 horsepower, dragster as her hobby - it makes a change from her day job of University Lecturer in Nurse Education!

Our current attempts to run a little faster each meeting continues with our runs at the main event. With careful tuning of the car - we have now run a 6.90 et over quarter mile. Although this is only 0.04 quicker than we have gone before some nutty car race fan did point out to us that this would be the equivalent of .56 seconds per lap gain at silverstone in a formula one car - and any F1 team would be over the moon with that - and we certainly were!
